The Association of Friends of St. Patrick’s Hospital is looking for participants to sign up to this year’s Mini Marathon.
These participants would run in aid of St. Patrick’s University Hospital and all funds raised will be used to assist in funding Mental Health Matters.
The run takes place on the 7th of June 2010.
Back round Information
St. Patrick’s University Hospital is Ireland’s largest, independent not for profit mental health service provider. It aspires to provide the highest quality of mental health care, to promote mental health and to advocate for the rights of those who experience mental illness.
All monies raised will be used to assist in funding Mental Health Matters, the 5-year strategy of the Hospital. Through this strategy, St. Patrick’s University Hospital is committed to developing a wide range of new services and treatments. We need your support to make our strategy a reality.
We are currently building an in-patient Adolescent Unit and have already opened community based Adolescent Services which provide support to young people in the community.
Mental Health Matters: It matters to the one in four people who suffer from mental illness and to the countless families and friends whose lives are touched by it.
