This guitar is amazing and I hate to let it go! Very few of these great models to be found in this great of shape. The sound has opened up tremendously over the years and has that earthy \"Tony Rice\" deepness to it that very few boutique instruments seem not to have these days. The neck is so stable with medium gauge strings that it never needs adjustment and maintains its action throughout even the Winter months. An extreme inspirational \"JOY TO PLAY\"!!!
Santa Cruz Bluegrass D, patterned after 1942 D 18, Late 90\'s, extremely good condition, this instrument stayed at home and was used only in the studio, premium highest quality \"Adirondack\" spruce top, beautifully figured amber mahogany back and sides, Brazilian rosewood headstock overlay with pearl logo, Waverly tuners with ivoroid buttons, 1-11/16\" nut width, ebony fingerboard with vintage 18 style snail shell dots, body binding with black/white/black purling, triple-bound fingerboard and headtsock, Dalmation pickguard, scallop-voiced 1942 style bracing, Fishman/electronics transducer underneath saddle with mini toggle/volume underneath soundhole, new hard shell case included.
