role
· play a leading role in defining the accounting/data flows for the dfs europe business as it is established
· work closely with other members of the finance integration team to enusre the financial systems meet all us gaap and local gaap requierments
· ensure all stattuory repotring requirements are undesrtood and can be met
· liiase with the regualtory repotring team to ensure that three are no data or proecss gaps in the regulatory reporting system
· work closely with corporate functions as appropriate
· once dfs europe is operational, support the month end process and ensure the business\' balance sheet is reconciled and controlled in an appropriate manner
· monitor the performance of any dell operations providing accounting/financial services to dfs europe
requirements
· 8 - 10 years accounting experience, preferably within a pan european operation
· understanding of the high tech industry or financial services highly desirable
· highly proficient in core financial systems e.
