title: financial accountant - dell financial services (dfs) euorpe - 6 month contract

role
· assist in defining the accounting/data flows for the dfs europe business as it is established
· work cloesly with other members of the finance integration team to ensure the financial systems meet all us gaap and local gaap requirements
· ensure all statutory reporting requirements are understood and can be met
· liaise with the regulatory reporting team to ensure that there are no data or process gaps in the regulatory reporting sytsem
· work closely with corproate funcitons as approrpiate
ocne dfs europe is operaitonal, supoprt the month end process and ensure the
requirements
· 6 years accounting experience, preferably within a pan european operation
· understanding of the high tech industry or financial services highly desirable
· knowledge of core financial systems e.peoplesoft
· ability to use own initiative and develop solutions based on business parameters
· comfortable working in a fast moving and dynamic business
· 3 years as a qualified accountant (aca, acca, cima)
