job responsibilities
·network management, software and system administration.analytical and communication skills are a must, strong technical.the successful candidate will have previous experience developing and architecting authentication infrasrtucture for cloud platforms. this critical role on the dell services cloud engineering team in the dell services product group, requires exceptional skills in managing software development lab infrasrtucture.
·troubleshoot complex network issues in the lan and wan networks using network sniffers and packet analysers, and server virtualization
·strong troubleshooting skills in enterprise level environments, xen and vmware administration
·support both the physical and virtual infrasrtucture
job requirements
·deep knoweldge of data center infrastructure technloogies such as storage, operating systems and harwdare
·deep knoweldge of intrenet and intarnet technologies
·deep knoweldge of data communciations & data netwroking
· knowledge of datbaase infrastructure desiarble
· abiilty to montior infrastructure and sovle infrastructure related issues
· understanding of fast-paced, networking, collaborative, icmp protocol suite and other os performance tools
·administer enterprise class firewall/ switch solutions in production data center environments
·configuration and administration of a range of network equipment from arista, networking, linux, open source development processes and methodologies
· ability to capacity manage infrastructure
· knowledge of best practices in terms of network, configuration
· ability to write technical documentation
· advanced knowledge and experience with enterprise service bus and cloud technology desirable
· strong linux os knowledge, broadcom or cisco
·installation/maintenance of datacentre hardware
·practical experience with iscsi/fc sans and san fabrics (equallogic, compellent or other)
·data centre deployment concepts and procedures
·management of lan and wan network routing and switching
·windows, server operation.
the ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the area of web identity and authentication as well as a very strong background in network and operating system level security.
