role
· develop and maintain an advanced economic model for the dell financial services (dfs) europe busniess
· model various business/financial scenarios to meet both internal management requirements plus supoprt various regulatory scenarios
· develop initial fp&a reporting requirements and structures for dfs europe
· work closely with all business stakeholders in developing monthly/quarterly financial forecasts for dfs europe
· co-ordinate and lead the annual financial planning proecss
· play an intgeral role in defniing the financial sysetms reqiured to support the business initially and into the future
· work closely with corporate to ensure all reporting requirements are met
requirements
· 6 - 8 years experience of financial modelling and reporting
· experience of pan european operations
· understanding of the high tech industry or financial services highly desirable
· highly proficient in ms excel and other databases such as ms access
· ability to use own initiative and develop solutions based on business parameters
· comfortable working in a fast moving and dynamic business
· 6 years as a qualified accountant (aca, acca, cima) or relevant mathematical degree
